The Eastern, Bondi Junction

The Eastern was a popular Bondi Junction hotel spanning four levels. After closing its doors in 2020, it is due to reopen early this year . The transfer of the licence and appointment of an approved manager was not straight forward particularly in view of the dormancy of the licence and the gaming machine entitlements attached to it. After receiving instructions just prior to Christmas, our Licensing team worked quickly to secure lodgement before the shutdown of NSW Liquor & Gaming over the following holiday period. As such, The Eastern received swift approval and is now in a position to open as originally proposed.
