Fivex Services, Rockdale
Fivex Services have been granted a transfer of licence allowing them to continue selling alcohol on recently acquired premises.
We congratulate Fivex Services in their successful application for a transfer of licence and change of licence name on behalf of their new tenant. This transfer of licence allowed Fivex Services, who own premises that include a supermarket with a liquor licence, to gain the rights to sell liquor on that property despite a previous tenant withdrawing from the site. Importantly they needed to do so under the business name registered by their new tenant namely, Rockdale Cellars.
With our assistance and the efficiency of the Department of L&GNSW, Fivex Services were able to complete this application and have it approved in only 72 hours. We believe our prompt and, professional contribution assisted in the transition from one operator to another in compliance with the landlord and tenant’s commercial obligations. And in this case assisted the landlord in mitigating the potential for adverse financial consequences as a result of the issues experienced with a former tenant.
