The Meat & Wine Co’s PSA was the third step in the licensing process for the restaurant to fully align its business model.
We are pleased to have again worked with The Meat & Wine Co to secure a primary service authorisation (PSA) for their Bligh Street restaurant. Our team had initially helped obtain an interim restaurant authorisation (IRA) while awaiting the approval of an on-premises (restaurant) licence, before that too was granted with our licensing team’s assistance.
The Meat & Wine Co’s PSA was the third step in the licensing process for the restaurant to bring its liquor service capabilities in line with its business model. It is now permitted to sell alcohol without the requirement to be alongside a genuine meal as is otherwise the case for an on-premises licence. As the third application associated with their Bligh Street restaurant, Meat & Wine Co’s approval showcases how a regimented and sequential approach, guided by the right advisor, can efficiently realise a business’ trading needs through their liquor licence.
